Threaded rods can be used in both anchoring and suspension applications. When used for suspension, they are threaded into an anchor in the ceiling and used to hang pipe, strut, HVAC ducts. Threaded rods are also used to stabilise structures, they can be inserted into various materials like concrete, wood or metal to either temporarily create a steady base during construction or they can be installed permanently.
