Grade 12.9 alloy steel socket cap screw has a tensile strength between 150,000 psi to 170,000 psi, stronger than Grade 8.8 steel screws. Socket screws are ideal for applications where there is not enough room to manoeuvre wrenches. The black oxide finish provides mild corrosion resistance in dry environments. Length is measured from under the head.
